– “God is betrayed by silence”
Olga Yuryevna Avdeeva, a surgeon from City Hospital No. 6 in Izhevsk and a mother of five children, became one of the victims of political repression in Udmurtia for her peaceful anti-war statements.

First arrest (March 2022)
On March 28, 2022, Avdeeva went out to the central square of Izhevsk with a sheet of paper in yellow and blue colors, symbolizing the flag of Ukraine, and addressed passers-by.
Her words, recorded in the case materials, sounded like this:
“Do not listen to Putin as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief,
I demand that the deputies impeach him, because he is a war criminal!
Stop killing Ukrainians! Stop, bastards!
Police, remember that you are the police, not bandit dogs!”
The court recognized these statements as “discrediting the army” and fined Olga 15,000 rubles.

Second arrest (June 2023)
On June 17, 2023, Avdeeva again went to the central square of Izhevsk.
She brought a wreath of colored ribbons as a symbol of Ukraine’s suffering, and a poster with the inscription: “RUSSIA IS DOING EVIL”.
She publicly stated: “I will not let my son die for Putin’s gang. And you must refuse to follow criminal orders.”
For this, the court again found her guilty under Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and imposed a fine of 30,000 rubles.
Criminal prosecution (2023–2024)
Two administrative protocols served as the basis for initiating a criminal case against Olga Avdeeva under Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“repeated discrediting of the army”).
On April 4, 2024, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Izhevsk sentenced her, the text of which is not yet available in the public domain. However, it is known that the sentence came into force on April 20, 2024. According to OVD-Info, Olga is free, she was sentenced to a large fine, despite the fact that she is a mother of many children: repression.info/ru/persons/olga-avdeeva. Olga also now has a criminal record, which limits her ability to work.
