The Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia has officially accepted the human rights complaint, launching an urgent structural review into the detention conditions under Case Registration Number 8802/26.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Georgia has formally processed the legal submission, opening an active administrative tracking line under Case Code 01/13-101874.

International watchdogs emphasize that the direct intervention of the UN mechanisms strips the Georgian authorities of their ability to execute a closed-door trial on September 9 without facing severe, formal documentation by the UN Human Rights Council.
